In 2006, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) will celebrate its 100th anniversary. With the site for the NCAA Men's Final
Four set for Indianapolis, now home to the NCAA, there can be no better place to reflect on the challenges and possibilities presented by
college sport in its unique relationship to higher education. The Drake Group, in collaboration with the Department of Physical Education
at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), invites you to attend the 2006 conference and meeting to be held at
University Place at IUPUI on Friday and Saturday, March 31 - April 1, 2006. Scholars from a variety of disciplines will discuss their work
examining issues related to the history of college sport, faculty role in college sport reform, college sport reform movements, and other
related topics.

Parking information for IUPUI
According to University Place on the IUPUI campus, "parking is available in our underground parking garage beginning at $2.00 for the
first half hour up to $10.00 per day".
University Place, which consists of both a hotel and a conference center, is located at 850 Michigan Street between West and University
Boulevard.
