Dear Representative XXXXX,
I am a constituent writing to ask you to OPPOSE H.R. 4212 –The SCORE Act. The bill would grant the NCAA an antitrust exemption, preempt all state NIL laws, and declare college athletes to be non-employees, making them ineligible for employee benefits like long-term health coverage and other protections. Furthermore, athlete health benefits are inadequate, and there are no scholarship guarantees beyond the current one-year grant-in-aid agreements.
