The Drake Group Education Fund is responsible for the research and development of these educational materials while The Drake Group is responsible for disseminating them to members of Congress and those who seek collegiate athletics governance reform.
The Drake Group is non-partisan. When a college sports related bill is filed, we analyze the bill and take a position on the basis of whether the bill advances academic integrity of college sports, protects the health and wellbeing of college athletes, solves an important sports governance issue or otherwise improves intercollegiate athletics programs. Listed next to a photo of the bill sponsor are bills currently pending before the U.S. Congress about which The Drake Group has taken a position. Not all bills have been analyzed to date.
