I am a constituent writing to ask you to become a co-sponsor and support H.R. 5491 –The NCAA Accountability Act of  2023. College athletes and institutions of higher education need due process protections when they are being investigated for rules infractions by the NCAA. I believe the NCAA’s monopoly over college athletics, combined with a lack of oversight, has seriously harmed the U.S. education system and opportunities for college athletes. This bill helps protect universities and athletes by ensuring fairness and consistency in the NCAA infractions process.
